Description

Japanese company is seeking Field Service Engineer for Plastic Injection Molding machine.

Work from home in GA, AL, TN.
Travel 65% of the time.

Salary: 65K - 82K

Need 3Y experience of maintenance and troubleshooting for Plastic Injection Molding machine.

< Core function and Duties >

Adheres to daily schedule provided by Area Service Manager to visit and service customers’ machinery.
• Troubleshoots electrical, hydraulic and mechanical problems leaving the customer with the
assurance that the problem has been or will be resolved.
• For new injection molding machines: starts up, provides molding assistance, and gives hands on operator and maintenance training.
• Responsible for timely and accurate field service report specific to all services on site, problems incurred, safety violations noted, hours and expenses.
• Responsible for all the proper use and care of all company-issued tooling, property, and
proprietary information.

Responsible for projecting a positive image to the customer by having a positive attitude, personal appearance, and the highest level of professionalism that must be consistent with company guidelines.
• Generates clear, concise, accurate and complete field service reports, expense reports, and timely return of those reports to the home office.
• Schedules time and makes travel arrangements consistent with the department’s objectives of
controlling costs, and travel and living expenses.
• Provides temporary phone coverage for technical support and/or manager while there is a vacancy due to vacation and/or illness.
