Our client, a leading manufacturer of precision measuring tools and instruments located in the West suburb of Chicago, is seeking a Japanese-speaking Technical Support Specialist. New grads are welcome to apply for this position Salary: $60,000 Benefits: PTO plus at least 10 paid holidays per year Medical, Dental, Vision & Life Insurance STD, LTD, Employee Assistance Program 401(k) Plan plus company match Tuition Reimbursement Service Recognition Act as an Application Engineer by providing support for customers,distributors, and internal Sales team for product demonstrations and instructions. 1.Provide technical support, such as product capabilities and specifications, to customers, distributors and sales support staff. 2. Assist customers, distributors and sales support staff with product applications, troubleshooting, and specific product recommendations. 3. Review new products, product specifications, engineering, and product changes from Japan to determine correctness of the changes and to keep abreast of new products. 4.Conduct training sessions on new or current products to sales support staff. 5.Communicate with other departments to stay abreast of new products and latest advancement of products. 6.Review product catalogs and bulletins for accuracy of performance specifications. Background Profile: -Language skills:Business level fluency in both Japanese and English -Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree preferred but not required |
