Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance/ Quality Control Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality. This role requires a strong understanding of sensors and ISO proficient.

Duties
The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for the effective implementation, deployment, operation and improvement of the Quality Management System in support of the effective provision of measurement & control products and services for PA/FA to customers. Drive policy of early detection, fast response, quick resolution.
- Responsible for the Quality Assurance functions in conjunction with our Corp Office
- Direct the quality improvement efforts of the company by following a structured continuous improvement approach and focusing on root cause identification and correction.
- Support global material and supplier qualification processes. Evaluate the change notification associated with all relevant changes and collaborate with customers, other departments, or contract manufacturers to evaluate and effectively implement the changes in a timely manner.
- Manage and maintain quality risk management with supply chain.
- Implement and deploy system for the support of early detection, fast response and quick resolution of issues which affect customer satisfaction.
- Support corporate, customer, and supplier quality audit programs. Ensure that the audit programs are maintained as required by internal/external policies and procedures.
- Oversees ISO inspections and any external audits/assessments/regulations to ensure that factory Quality assurance is properly represented.
- Assist the personnel in evaluation of product non-conformities and root cause analysis down to design. Collaborate in the development and evaluation of permanent countermeasure.
- Oversee internal audit processes with emphasis on continual improvement.
- Provide quality training, coaching and guidance to all stake holders.
- Actively interface with customers for quality issues, technical information, specification, agreements, audits, etc.
- Ensure that the processes needed to establish the Quality Assurance function are established, implemented, deployed, maintained and continuously approved.
- Oversee factory quality control functions including SPC, measuring and control, defect handling and analysis to ensure product quality, regardless of internal or external party. Take early and effective actions to resolve emerging issues that affect product quality.
- Oversee and manage collaboration and communication of the quality assurance function with parent company.
- Actively identify and report quality issues, risks and opportunities – take immediate actions to address and issue or risk. Escalate urgent issues to management.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase performance against identified KPI’s, reduce the cost of poor Quality, and improve product performance.

- Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Manager or similar role in software development.
- QA of Pressure Sensors
- Familiarity with calibration tools.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

- Work Environment:
- This job operates in a professional office environment. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

- General Requirements:
- Working Knowledge in MS office.
- ISO standards, DOE, statistical analysis,

- Physical Demands:
- While performing this position, the employee will regularly be required to sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.
- Must have the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.

- Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
- This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, hours determined by supervisor.

- Travel:
- Extended overnight travel. (Japan as needed)

- Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Discipline or similar course of study required.
- Seven years in a supervisory quality function with a product based company or a factory environment.
