| Japanese Company seeks Japanese/English Bilingual Accounting Specialist II in Maryville, TN Language Skills: Japanese/English Bilingual MUST Previous working exp.,: Basic Accounting Hourly range: $24.35-30.44 (Non-Exempt) Work Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm, but flexible work arrangement, 3 days/office and 2days/home. During the training period, the candidate will be required to work at the office 5 days a week. However, once training is complete, they will be able to request flex time. •Liaison between Accounting Manager & Japanese Sr. Manager(s) •Effectively apply accounting principles to ensure accurate financial reporting •Responsible for the recording and reconciliation of daily banking transactions •Maintain effective internal controls within the department •Support duties related to accounts payable & accounts receivable functions •Assist with monthly inventory reconciliation •GL account reconciliations •Research and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner •Compile and prepare routine reports & summaries •Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures as assigned •Assist with audit preparation •Handle email communications in a timely manner •Utilize technical skills to assist in department efficiency •Prepare post-closing reports and deliverables •Resolve problems & issues and implement methods for continuous improvement •Other duties and special projects as assigned. |
