New Jersey’s Minimum Wage Increase in 2025

Effective January 1, 2025, the minimum wage for most employers in New Jersey will increase from $15.13 to $15.49 per hour, and from $13.73 to $14.53 for small employers (fewer than six employees).

The minimum hourly wage rate is adjusted annually based on any increase in Consumer Price Index (CPI) data provided by the US Bureau of Labor Statistics.
