San Francisco Amends Family Friendly Workplace Ordinance

The City of San Francisco passed amendments to its existing Family Friendly Workplace Ordinance (FFWO), effective July 12, 2022, that will affect any employer with 20 or more employees either working in an office or telecommuting out of San Francisco. Among other changes is the part that allows employees to have flexible or predictable work arrangements to care for any person, age 65 or older who is in a “family relationship”, rather than specifically a parent.
